Legion of Boom, Jimmy_The_Greek Cheesy_Bruin Meet_The_Matts, FREE NFL PICKSMARLBORO, NY – I’m on an epic 16-4 (80%) run over the past five weeks with Cheesy Bruin’s FREE NFL Picks here at Meet The Matts. Last week I proved even the most depressing of games can be profitable – and rewarding – if you can stand watching such crap. If I had to pick one word to describe today’s selections that word would be surprise. Here are the picks in which to line your pockets with cash.

FAVORITE The Seattle SeahawksLegion of BoomLegion of Boom, Meet_The_Matts Cheesy_Bruins FREE_NFL_PICKShas taken a hit with injuries to Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. The ‘Hawks’ running backs have also been dinged up all season long. So what’s Pete Carroll to do now in order to win games? Easy, rely on Russell Wilson to scramble, improvise, and throw the team to victory like he has shown to do if necessary. No time like the present as the Atlanta Falcons and their pedestrian defense pay a visit to the Pacific Northwest. Prior to the Falcons throttling of the Dallas Cowboys last week, they had given up 20+ points in seven straight games. The Seahawks will adjust to all the injuries and look to win shootouts like the one in store for tomorrow’s Monday Night Football contest. The raucous crowd full of 12th Men will enjoy a surprisingly easy romp. The Pick? SEATTLE -2 over Atlanta.

UNDERDOG Last week I predicted the type of win eluding the New England Patriots that they are accustomed; a 41-16 blowout of the Broncos in Denver. broncos-mexico13 (annie) Cheesy_Bruins FREE_NFL_PICKSToday, the Pats are in Mexico City to play the Oakland Raiders in yet another NFL effort to globalize the sport. Hey, if the forces that be can shove soccer down America’s throat why can’t we attempt the same with our version of football? The Raiders have struggled to a 4-5 record but do come into this home game off of a bye and have the extra time to prepare for The Brady Bunch. Possessing the personnel to smack the Patriots in the mouth, this shapes up to be the surprise of the day. The Pick? OAKLAND +7.5 over New England.

OVER The Arizona Cardinals have gone “under” in seven of their nine games thus far while the Houston Texans have been an “under” in the four games where Deshaun Watson has not started. A battle of backup quarterbacks is on tap for this one as Drew Stanton and Tom Savage square off in what should be a lackluster affair. I’m going against the grain here because what the Cards do well on offense (throw the deep ball) is the Texans’ Achilles heel. I like the chances for Arizona to score at least 28 points and that can get us to our magic number here. The Pick? Arizona/HOUSTON OVER 37.5

UNDER I have a gut feeling that the Giants will show up and put forth the type of effort lacking for most of the first half of the season.  The pow wow Ben McAdoo had with the team will pay some dividends in that the game against Kansas City will be competitive but not necessarily a victory.  For the Giants to be close in this game it will have to be a low scoring game since they can’t afford to get into a shootout with the high octane ChiefsThe Pick?  Kansas City/GIANTS UNDER 46.

That’s it, come back for DJ Eberle tomorrow, who is nearly recovered from his trip to Buffalo where he saw the Saints humiliate his Bills. And please follow us on Twitter – @CheesyBruin & @MeetTheMatts, @Matt_McCarthy00, Instagram @MeetTheMatts and like our Facebook page, Meet The Matts.

A man amongst men. Cheesy Bruin kicked cancer to the curb - twice. The Cheese Man's a big, tough teddy-bear who survived the Bronx despite being an unabashed Boston Bruins fan and Sargent-At-Arms for Angry Ward's Urban Spur Posse. Nuff said. Doctors have taken most of this throat and had to make him a new tongue from thigh-meat (his own) and still he won't shut up about the Bruins, Cowboys, Pirates and Cleveland Cavaliers. And yes, his kids do love him.
