DENVER, CO – Okay, so I missed miserably with yesterday’s UNDER play in my NFL Picks. It didn’t matter much which game it was because it was the most prolific pair of offensive Divisional games in NFL playoff history. Sorry for those of you that lost but for me the silver lining being wrong was the explosion of my Fantasy Playoff Squad…KABOOM!!!! Hopefully, that worked for you as well.

Today’s late game has another rematch from the regular season between the Pats and Texans up in Foxboro again. If you’ll remember the Texans looked like the junior varsity scrimmaging against a senior-laden varsity team. As Matt Schaub starts regressing on a Jake Delhomme-like path there’s always a job on MTM as a correspondent if Short Matt can fit him under management’s tight salary cap. Ah… never mind.

New_England_Patriots_Cheerleaders Anyhow, yesterday saw the Ravens avenge a regular season loss at the hands of Denver on the road in an epic game. Any team whiffing the way the Texans did several weeks ago in Beantown (GO BRUINS!) will have their manhood on the line, as the stakes are much higher with the winner hosting the AFC Championship game.

While I think Houston is up to the task getting 9 ½ as underdogs, an outright victory is asking way too much of this bunch. Taking two handfuls of points when a team runs the ball as effectively as Houston does is always prudent, however, and you can cash a winning ticket if Schaub doesn’t have the yips again. For me this won’t be a win – maybe a back-door cover, or just a plain old close game. Texans +9 ½.

  how can you hate a harbaugh? If you haven’t noticed all the eltie coaches in football are super intense for a reason, harbaugh, harbaugh, saban, belichick, stoops, meyer. All of the “Likeable” coaches can’t convert; Mike Smith, Andy Reid, Rex Ryan etc.

playoff, schmayoffs…Patises are gonna win the whole thing. The BCS voters already decided it. Brady will win the Baugh tophy…the pros version of the Hiesman. And Alabama will move up into the pros, Roll Tide, while the Jets are relegated to playing in the Big East.
