D.J. Eberle: The youngest of our team, D.J. is also the largest. Offensive Tackle Large. In fact, this Albany native used OT for Western New England University - until he graduated in May of 2014. Like Junoir Blaber, he's a regular on Rugby Wrap Up - his dad played rugby with The Matts. His cross to bear, however, is his love for the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. As for baseball and basketball, it's the Yanks and Atlanta Hawks. Follow him on Twitter: @DJEberle

CLIFTON PARK, NY – As I lay on my parents’ couch to write this column, I have mixed emotions. I should be ecstatic. The Buffalo Bills upset the Arizona Cardinals to keep their season alive. It was a win that nobody but me – and even I had my doubts – thought would happen. We […]

Ebs’ One Big Thing: Fantasy Football Draft

BALLSTON SPA, NY – There were a lot of ways I could have went with this week’s column… The Baby Bombers have made a surge of late and sit well within the AL Wild Card hunt, all of the storylines in the NFL – i.e. Tony Romo, Colin Kaepernick and, for once, not the Buffalo […]

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – You know, I could have easily made this about the Buffalo Bills. Considering Marcell Dareus is going to rehab, rookie sensation Karlos Williams was cut just hours before Saturday’s game against the New York Giants and outside linebacker Manny Lawson could very well miss the season opener because of a suspension, […]

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – This weekend was a bit of a bummer. At least it was for me. Not only did longtime ESPN NFL analyst Tom Jackson signoff for the last time Saturday night, but just a day later, future Hall of Famer – yup, I said it – Alex Rodriguez announced that he will […]

Ebs’ Hot Takes: NFL Training Camp

BALLSTON SPA, NY – I could have easily made this week’s column about the new-look New York Yankees and their new rebuilding lifestyle. But let’s face it… If I did that, there’s a very good chance this whole column could be moot by 4 p.m. because half the team could be gone. From what I’ve […]

BALLSTON SPA, NY – So, I’m sitting here Sunday night watching the New York Yankees salvage a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox, at least do some degree, and I was having a trouble coming up with a topic for this week’s column. Then Yankees utility man Rob Refsnyder came up to bat. It […]
