Junoir Blaber is from Ghana but was transplanted to the Bronx as a young lion chaser. Blaber is the Rain Man of Meet The Matts and is a featured contributor on MTM global partner, Rugby Wrap Up. The name "Junoir" is not a cool African name. Instead, Blaber mis-typed "Junoir" on his Facebook page. But proving that two wrongs indeed do make a right, he embraced his new persona - [June-noire]... Manute Bol is his uncle and his teams are the Mets, Jets, Knicks & NY Rangers... And Manchester United. He knows soccer. [Vomit]. P.s... He has webbed toes and came be followed on Twitter here: @JunoirBlaber

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS – Happy Saturday gang! That week felt like a month, as there wasn’t much to talk about, except the horrible weather for an Opening Day, that was way too soon. As usual though, I got on my [Information Super Highway] Horse and found some diamonds in the ruff to chat about. […]

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS – Once again I found motivation for today’s piece via the piece from the day before… and actually the piece from last Friday, too. These excellent posts helped me develop 3/4ths of my patent-pending formula for this week. The rest just took a wee bit of research and… BANG! Strap in […]

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS – Following up yesterday’s piece is not easy but nothing in life is. With that, let’s get to the fun stuff by focusing on the Olympics (spit!) and NCAA Basketball, especially its king of corruption. Sticking to my patent-pending formula, we will have a Song of the Week followed by Sports […]

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS – It is amazing how despite not caring for the NFL or Winter Olympics, you are forced to mention them when you write a weekly sports article. Especially this time of the year, because there is not much to talk about. Sure, I could talk about Rugby or the upcoming MLS season […]
