PHILADELPHIA, PA – After a horrific week of going 0-4, and having my laptop screen explode in a way not covered by the warranty, it’s time to cover my losses from last week. After all, 8-7 (54%) is just not going to cut it. So, without further ado, here are my Week 5 NFL Picks.
Favorite: The Cam Newtons head intto Arizona at 1-2 needing a win. 2-2 is a lot better than 1-3. Arizona on the other hand, is 2-2 and has a stadium full of blue hairs. Take the Panthers and lay the points.
Carolina -2
Underdog: Watching JG Clancy’s Oakland A’s duke it out with Detroit has Raider Nation on my mind. They, along with Ice Cube, are douche bags – who aren’t tough. Still, take the smart money at home vs the Chargers…
Raiders +4 1/2
Over: This is a battle of the inept. Chip Douglas could coach the Eagles as well as Chip Kelly right now. Do you think Philly fans miss Andy Reid – who is 4-0? But the Giants couldn’t keep Stephen Merchant from scoring right now.
OVER 54 1/2
Under: Da Bears will see the Saints come marching in on Sunday at Soldier Field. The visitors are humming on all cylinders, with a defense that’s only allowed 55 points. Even though but clubs are averaging over 25 points per, this week will be different.
UNDER 48 1/2
What won’t be different is the excellence of DJ Eberle, who is here tomorrow but also has 3 NFL Picks for you while moonlighting at RugbyWrapUp.com.
