Dream Scenarios For Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers
SPANISH HARLEM – Today’s about QBs. Let me throw the first bomb with with this: I think most people believe Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will play again next season. The real question is whether they will play for their respective teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers. Let’s look at each situation and make a guess as where they will end up.
Tom Brady
Much like last season, there are rumors that Brady may retire but I don’t think that is happening. Also, I don’t see him returning to Tampa, as they are not a contending team at this point. My guess is that he lands in Miami with the Dolphins. They have an explosive offense with some of the fastest receivers in the league in Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill. Tampa Tom can still get the ball out quick and that will allow his receivers to make plays. While he may not the arm he once had, Waddle and Hill create so much space because teams fear their deep-play ability. This will allow Brady to be the best version of himself and with questions still hovering over Tua Tagovailoa and his concussions, there is a very good chance that Brady is the quarterback in Miami next season.
Aaron Rodgers
This one may surprise you but I really like the New York Jets. They have money available to make it work under the cap. Also, the J-E-T-S have a talented group that can contend right away. One reason it doesn’t happen is the publicity that would come with playing in New York. The media doesn’t make it easy on players and Rodgers is one to not hold his tongue. Other than that, it would be a perfect fit. A-Rodge is not what he once was but with the right supporting cast, he can still be a great quarterback.
That’s it for now, come back tomorrow for Different Matt, Cam James or Grinding Ax Walt.
