Spanish Harlem – If your like me, you did everything you could to enjoy the holidays. It’s a time for smiles with hugs and kisses, a lot of food and hopefully good games and drinks. With that said, let’s get down to the sports of it all. The New York Knicks played on Christmas and we figure out if there is anything else up the New York Yankees sleeve.
Knicks Win on Christmas
Behind Mikal Bridges, the Knicks edged out the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 117-114, I will tell, you seeing Wimby doing Wimby things was scary if you are a Knickerbockers fan. He was shooting from everywhere and the only thing I could think of… was he was an MSG moment. You know the one I’m talking about, the one where the Knicks lose no matter what they do because the other guy is having a MSG MOMENT. Ultimately, it was Bridges that won the game and became New York’s hero on Christmas Day.
Yankees Done?
After signing Paul – and yes I’m so lazy that I won’t spell his last name and won’t even google it – are the Yankees done? We get to this point in free agency where you want to sign somebody but do they fit into what you have built so far. The Yankees are there and everything from here on out has to fit right. They may still have a chance at Bregman but would you be surprised if they didn’t sign him? Definitely not me, I am old enough to see what this organization has done the last 10 or 15 years. My guess is… this is it, unless something comes to them that they like.
