Mets Make Moves
As the saga between the Mets and Pete Alonso, continues, the Mets have made some commendable moves this offseason aside from Juan Soto. Signing former Brave AJ Minter as a key bullpen member to bolster the backend. Just yesterday, the Mets re-signed RHP Ryne Stanek to a one-year deal, further fortifying a strong spot for a team aiming to return to the postseason.
Eagles vs. Chiefs
We might as well consider why each team may or may not win. For the Chiefs, the question is simple: Can they stop Saon Barkley? Few teams have managed to do so, but if any team could slow him down, it would be Kansas City, led by Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, one the brilliant defensive minds in NFL history. He is one of the few I trust to give Kansas City a chance to stop the great Saquon. Conversely, how can Philadelphia limit Patrick Mahomes? the Eagles’ pass rush has proven to be one of the best in football. Andy Reid will certainly have a plan to counter, as he is one of the offensive minds to ever call a game.
Royal Rumble Predictions
Ever since I started watching wrestling, the Royal Rumble pay-per-view has always been of my favorites. The suspense of who start at numbers 1 and 2 to set the tone for the entirety of the match, and the surprise entries of past superstars who have forgotten for numerous reasons, make it a great event to watch for getting into the sport.
As for the prediction, this year’s Rumble is perhaps the most anticipated and star-studded in recent memory. The names range from CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and the returning John Cena. There’s a case to be made for each man to win this event and main WrestleMania. My pick has to be John Cena, in what he has said is his final Rumble. I think the leader of the Cenation will win the big one more time.
