Mets Injures Mount
Since the beginning of spring training, the Mets have faced several setbacks, losing catcher Francisco Alvarez to a broken hand for 4-6 weeks. Star outfielder Brandon Nimmo has also been dealing with an injury. The latest injury is to Jeff McNeil who suffered an oblique injury and is currently scheduled to miss opening day. However, all hope is not lost. With younger players such as Brett Baty and Luisangel Acuna, the Mets should have more than enough firepower withstand a few injuries for a weeks to begin the season.
Yanks Lose Cole
There’s no sugarcoating this one. This is a significant for a team eager to the world wrong after losing Juan Soto. However, there is a silver lining: the signing of former Brave Max Fried the addition of Devin Williams to the bullpen will help soften the blow. Combined with the potential of Carlos Rodon, Clarke Schmidt, and a possible return of Luis Gil, the season may not be lost just yet.

Giants Free Agency Moves
Last week, we discussed three moves the needed to make, and we even nailed one of them! CB Paulson Adebo of the Saints was signed to a three-year deal worth up to 54 million dollars. This move not only improves the Giants but also takes some pressure off former first-rounder Deonte Banks, who no longer has to be the corner on the team. this move, the Giants snagged safety Jevon Holland from Miami in a stunner. This acquisition gives the G-Men of the safety duos in the by pairing with second-year man Tyler Nubin. The Giants not done there, however. Former Chauncey Golston was signed to a three-year deal to help improve the depth on the D-Line. This was capped off by signing veteran guard Greg Van Roten, was arguably the most consistent player on a bad O-Line last year that should improve with the return of left tackle Andrew Thomas. In the next few days, the Giants should find out if they are able to land one of Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson.
