Battle for the NFC East

SPANISH HARLEM – It’s safe to say that the New York Giants and Dallas are out of the playoff race in the NFC East, leaving the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders as the viable options for the throne. With that said, lets take a look at tonight’s NFL Thursday match up.

The Eagles were considered contenders even with the surprising downward spiral that they endured late last season heading into the playoffs. As an Eagles fan, nothing was worse than watching that team crumble and become downright unwatchable. There was moments to start the season that seemingly could of spiraled out of control but they weathered the storm and turned it around to the tune of a 7-2 records to take sole possession of the NFC East.

The surprising Commanders come into this game losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday but very much on the up and up. No one could have imagined that Jaden Daniels would be this good so soon but he is and they are believable contenders no matter the outcome. There is a great future for Daniels as long as he remains healthy.

This game could very well determine who will win the NFC East, as the Eagles can take a two-game lead in the division. The Commanders could also take the lead in the division with a win themselves, as any tiebreaker would benefit them in the short term. This will be an exciting game for both fans and a possible determination of what type of contenders they can be moving forward.
