Keep Babying Them, Adding Them to the Injured List

TAMPA, FL – An unnamed staff member had the audacity to tell the Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Jim Rice to basically mind his f*cking business, after a player picked Rice’s brain about hitting. The disrespectful d!ckhead is one of the many that are employed by teams of MLB.

The d!ckhead, who never had a pro at bat, is one of the reasons that this game has gone down the drain. One needs to only know that there was a total of six .300 hitters in 2024. That’s six hitters from the 30 team league.`

The philosophy of pitching today consists of either 4 innings or 100 pitches, whichever comes first. The goal here is to protect a pitcher’s arm, especially a pitcher who has a long-term deal. The NY Mets made it a habit of protecting their two-time Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom before he dumped them to sign on with the Texas Rangers. All that babying led to the infamous Tommy John surgery for deGrom

Since becoming a N.Y. Yankee, Gerrit Cole has been tended to with baby wipes and silk diapers. For the nine-year deal investment, the Yankees agreed to with Cole it’s been 6 innings or 100 pitches. The goal here wasn’t to have Cole go deep into the game for a win, it’s to make sure he survives for nine years while being monitored. We all see how that worked out.

We’ll see Cole in a year and a half, after his TJ Surgery and rehab, where he’ll continue to be babied even more.

Let those d!ckhead ANALytic disciples line up to change Cole’s diaper, as he blows sh!t on their laptop theories.
