Little Rock Arkansas – I don’t know if anyone’s heard but a team formerly known as The Titans is playing a team formerly from Baltimore for something called the Lamar Hunt Trophy, later today. You might have heard or read something in the papers about it. Seems it’s quite a story!

Top five game shows of all-time.

  • 5. The original Hollywood Squares hosted by Peter Marshall featuring Paul Lynde in the center square. As campy as it gets.
  • 4. Who Wants to be a Millionaire? with Regis Philbin. You always wanted to know the capital of Senegal, didn’t you?

  • 3. Jeopardy with Alex Trebek in a squeaker over the original with Art Fleming. Really the gold standard of infotainment.
  • 2. Match Game with Gene Rayburn. Sexual innuendo with Charles Nelson Reilly and Fannie Flagg. Who cares who wins! I wonder where I can get my hands on a two foot skinny microphone?

  • 1. The Price is Right with Bob Barker. Drew Carey is doing an OK job but Happy Gilmore’s golfing buddy is still the gold standard. As smooth as a gravy sandwich. Those actual retail prices ($800 for a $200 grill, $4000 for a wire hammock) actually make it challenging. My only question is, when the first three contestants go $450, $600, and $350, why does the fourth invariably go with $850 instead of $601? How dumb are these people?
