Tiger vs. Phil, Steph Curry In A Car Crash And Apple Cup Class

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS: It is not normal we get to be like our role models. Angry Ward is the CC Sabathia of MTM so today is my chance to be little like him  and go back to back. So I had to search around but I found a few things to talk about on a slow Saturday. On the menu for today are Tiger vs. Phil, Steph Curry In A Car Crash And  Apple Cup Class.

Tiger vs. Phil: There is something about a hyped up event in Las Vegas. It just always flatters to deceive. Countless heavyweight fights, that Mayweather vs. McGregor fiasco and now the 1v1 golf-off between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. It was a money grab of people that were stupid enough to think watching a golf-off would draw people. It did draw people and eyeballs but mainly press and golf fans. The average person couldn’t care less and that is the general reaction as Mickelson won in 22 rounds.

Steph Curry involved in a car crashAngry Ward, Golden State Warriors fans (real and glorychasers) and basketball fans can breathe easy. It appears he was involved as in it was a multi car crash. Steph’s car was one of the late to arrive at the site of the catalyst car crash that led to it being a pile up. Apparently a bumper feel off but the All-World star was fine. The cops showed up and judging by the photo were unconcerned with the lives of everyday jabronies like me and you but made sure Monsieur Curry was fine, well fine enough for a group pic.

Apple Cup Class: I had never heard of the Apple Cup before. It is the name of the cup the winner of the annual rivalry day match between University of Washington and Washington State University. These games are common around this Mississippi vs Mississippi State is another that pops to mind. Anyway on the way to the game, the U of Wash marching bad had a major bus accident, literally crashed on its side. 46 or so of the 59 member band had to go to the hospital and th rest were sent home. So for the big rivalry game, U of Wash would not have their band. In a show of band unity and clash, the member of the WSU band in a short time trained and learned the U of Wash fight song so they could play it for the U of Wash players at big points in the game. Was a move definitive of the class in the band. I tip my hang to this the players and fans b
