Monday Morning QB: Cowboys Pandemic Party, NBA vs WNBA Horse, HS Signings

EL BARRIO, EL FALLS – Happy Easter Monday, sports fans. Easter Monday is a thing, believe it or not. And it took some help from the good Lord to come up with some topic.  Here is what I managed to conjure up for a menu today: Cowboys Pandemic Party, NBA vs WNBA Horse, HS Signings.

Cowboys Pandemic Party: Well, last week it was Kyle Walker having a pandemic party during the lockdown. This week its the Dallas Cowboys’ Zeke Elliott and Dak Prescott. I mean I guess it’s not easy staying inside and not doing anything that happens to all of us. However,  when you are a bored pro athlete and you earn millions you will find trouble but at the same time I don’t think anybody is surprised these superstars are violating a basic law. I hope they stay healthy but you know the same time that they get sick I won’t shed a tear.

NBA vs WNBA Horse: I didn’t even know the NBA vs. WNBA had a HORSE  game thing going on.  I mean, ESPN is so desperate for content, I wouldn’t be surprised if they started pulling up all is old rugby footage from 1979 when they started the network. As far as the actual game of HORSE that looks like the upstarts or the younger still-active players upset the veterans and legends. I’m just not sure why but it seems like that’s the way it went.

HS Signings: There’s been a lot of talk about the NFL Draft but the other thing that’s been garnering lots of attention is… High School Signings. I have never cared and I think I will never will, but the amount of pages it takes up in the sports news is insane to me. I guess this is where college players will end up,  but I can’t imagine high school players in college and some analysts are saying these players “are a top three college signing and he’s a likely lottery pick.” We are projecting two to three years into the future for this kid already. Well good luck at it, I hope you guys have fun watching these kids play and crumble under pressure.
