PORT JEFF, NY – As we gear up for a great weekend of football, I’ve got you covered with NFL and CFP Predictions.

NFL Wild Card Predictions

Chargers vs Texans

Let’s start with the AFC. In an intriguing between match between two of the better up-and-coming teams in the NFL, I predict the Chargers to win this one. The Texans have been playing poorly over the past month, after clinching their division. The Harbaugh/Herbert-led Chargers have gone toe-to-toe with just about everyone they have played this season. expect the Chargers win in a close game 21-17.

It is always an intriguing match-up when two teams from the same division face off in the postseason.

Ravens vs Steelers

These teams are no strangers to one another, as they play twice a season. In my opinion, this should not be close. The Ravens have been performing exceptionally well for a month, while the Steelers have been experiencing yet another late-season collapse. The final score in this game should be at least a two-touchdown difference.

Bucs-Commanders

Out of all games the weekend, this one is the toughest to predict. Rookie QBs on the road are normally easy spot to pick a game but QB Jayden Daniels is no ordinary rookie. Daniels has been one of the best in football this year. He is officially one those players where no matter the circumstance, his team has a chance to win any game because of him. This Tampa team a tough, though. With Baker Mayfield leading an experienced team, I predict Tampa Bay to win in a close one, 27-24.

CFP Predictions

Ohio State vs Texas has all the makings of instant classic. The Buckeyes have been on a mission since embarrassing loss to Michigan at home to close the season. Since then, they have rolled through the Football Playoff. I the Buckeyes to advance to the championship game.

Jackson Sternberg

The Penn State -Notre Dame playoff game was a thrilling contest. The first half was dominated by the Nittany, but the second half saw a dramatic shift in momentum. The Irish emerged with an intensity, taking the lead for the first time, only to relinquish it back to Penn State. A crucial fourth-quarter interception by Drew Allar ultimately gave the game to the Irish, who walked off with a 27-24 victory.
