SPANISH HARLEM – After a crazy week, I have picked myself up and became sane through all the pain. Jalen Hurts is the least of my trouble, so you know I have had a tough week. 
Live sporting events are closer to becoming a reality but no, nothing is etched in stone. It is everything I think about, yet nowhere in sight. The first step was the NFL Draft, a bold move when every other sport was staying put (WWE not included). The NBA has secretly started a game plan for their season and Major League Baseball is looking at a 100-game season (at the most). We are in uncharted territory, welcome to Covid 2020 Sports (TM).
BASEBALL
Where do we start when it never started? This is the unluckiest of the pro sports leagues because this is a time when baseball rules. Spring rain and allergies are the worst things but almost look forward to them because they are associated with baseball and Opening Day. Trees. Leaves. Flowers. Homers. Strikeouts… If you ask for more, GO TO HELL. The most perfect and purest time to fall in love with baseball was stained by the events that have hurt many. I need baseball to start again just so I can feel normal.
BASKETBALL
Definitely the sport that took the worst hit, with the season ending and the playoffs about to start, no sport took an immediate loss quite like the NBA. Many of us were ready to talk about the teams that would win championship, yet here we are waiting to see if the season will resume. I’m betting it will soon enough, but nothing is etched in stone.
FOOTBALL
WTF… I love the NFL Draft like any normal American but seriously! How did this become the greatest thing in sports? I get that we are all limited in what we have with sports but I only cared about my team and my team only. If you’re a fan like me, you are waiting your time until your team has a pick, spare with me with the news about anybody else. Well, I was wrong about that because it was the biggest thing on television.
