WHITESTONE, NY –
Once again, I am defending New York Yankees Manager Aaron Boone, as another “Fire Boone” rant has surfaced. This time its from Yankees legend Mariano Rivera. He let his feelings be known at the Sports Forum of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives.
Rivera, along with thousands of other Yankee disciples, have blamed Boone for the teams post season failures. Is Rivera, and the fans of the Yankees that stupid to point the finger at the man who created his own Yankee October magic?
It was back in 2003 when Boone connected for a walk-off homer against the Boston Red Sox, to take the Yankees into the World Series. Before Boone hit his Game 7 blast, Yankees icon Derek Jeter told him, “Every now and then in the regular season the ghosts will come out, but they come out in October all the time.”
Those ghosts haven’t been felt in a while. They checked out the new stadium back in 2009, and I guess they felt “The House that The Boss Built” was too ritzy for them. Those ghosts, made up of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and company, made their way back to the old stadium grounds, which turned into Heritage Park and is now known as Elston Howard Field. Even the ghosts can’t afford to hang out across the street where the Yankees now make their home.
The ghosts have been replaced by the ANALytics crew that consists of a bunch of idiotic morons, who hide behind their laptops. They leave Boone out to dry when their information fails.
That’s who these WOKE Yankee fans, who can’t possibly be that stupid to think batting Aaron Judge leadoff was Boone’s call, need to blame. As for Rivera, I have to give him a pass being that he did drop out of High School at the age of 16, and probably has sand in his brain, which inspired the Metallica song “Enter Sandman” as Rivera’s entrance music.
The Boone haters need to get educated and come to the conclusion that the Yankees front office needs to Defund ANALytics. Let Boone manage from his gut, let the players play and let the funds from the Analytics go to the Yankees employees, who are grossly under paid.
