Commanders Get Deebo, Rodgers to Giants? Cena Turns Heel

PORT JEFF, NY- Greetings, lots to discuss! Lets get into it: Commanders Get Deebo, Rodgers to Giants? Cena Turns Heel

Commanders get Deebo

Wow. I didn’t see this coming. Deebo at one time was one of the most explosive players in the NFL, however this past season he seemed to have either lost a step or lost interest. Either way this is a great low cost get for Washington. If it turns out he’s the Deebo of old, this offense might be the best in the NFL.

Rodgers to Giants?

After Matt Stafford re-signed with the Rams, rumors are now swirling that the Giants might bring in Aaron Rodgers. I didn’t think Stafford made much sense for the Giants, and I certainly don’t think Rodgers does either. This roster is bad. I understand Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen want a quick rebuild. But this certainly isn’t the answer. Rodgers has become synonymous with off-the-field drama in recent years. Whether it’s cryptic comments on his future, or his outspoken takes on non-football issues, he attracts attention that often overshadows his play. Frankly, Rodgers isn’t good enough anymore to put up with this antics off the field.  This franchise has been a disaster for over a decade now. Signing Rodgers and attempting to build a roster around him will only set them back further.

Cena Turns Heel

I don’t watch the WWE much anymore, but I feel I have to comment on this. John Cena has turned heel. After a very exciting Elimination Chamber match that Cena won, Cody Rhodes and The Rock came out, setting the stage for the Cena heel turn. This is a moment #WWE fans have dreamed of for years, yet the creative team or Cena never had the desire to see it happen. And then there’s the F-Bomb Cody Rhodes dropped during the promo. This new-look WWE – under new management and now airing on Netflix – has an entirely different feel to it. It no longer feels forced and staged. The story lines and dialogue make it feel real and far more authentic than in years past.
