SPANISH HARLEM – The New York Knicks won last night against the Charlotte Hornets, yet I keep asking myself if the team is improving under Mike Brown. I know the season is still and we should all been patient with this group, but I lean into this question for the sake of all Knicks fans.
The Knicks are Winning at Home
So far this season, the Knicks have been dominant at home, and it is fun to watch. I will have to do my research, but the Knicks feel different playing at home than in prior years. The start is good but if they can continue to dominate at home that is a plus in my book.
The Offense
At time that can look like the best offense in the league but as we saw last night against the Hornets, they can go through dry spells. They are making strides on the offense end and yet, it could look ugly at times. It should get better with more practice and repetition. I like what I see so far.
The Defense (Specifically on the Road)

Here is my problem, as said with the offense, they lose leads in a hurry. I know OG Anunoby is hurt and they are always better with on the floor but with defense, it’s a mindset. You want to minimize that lack of effort more often than not and to be one of the best teams in league, you need to try to get to that top 10 rating. Hopefully, that will get better when OG but good defenses win on the road, and they haven’t done that yet this season.
That’s it for now, please come back tomorrow for more great content from Jackson Sternberg.
