SPANISH HARLEM – The New York Yankees have dealt with some serious injuries this season and they will continue to do so for the time being. It’s not all bad though, so let’s discuss some good news and more bad news for the Yankees.
Good News
Clay Bellinger seems to be on his way back soon. All the news coming out has him playing in minor games starting soon. It shouldn’t take long to get him back and though he wasn’t tearing the cover off the ball before his injury, it would really help the outfield defense and provide Boone with more options for his lineup.
Aaron Judge has been given the green light to hitting and while it’s the best possible news for Yankees fans, he is still far off from joining the team. Hopefully they get no setbacks because you want him healthy if they make playoffs.
Bad News
Max Fried is hurt again on the same elbow that kept him out for a extended period of time. Boone has stated that they think its not as bad as before but there is nothing good about having a bad elbow. He was really coming around and pitching very well before going down. I feel that when healthy he is the Ace of this staff and getting him back for the playoffs would provide me with more confidence for a possible deep run in the playoffs.
