Dart’s Big Test, NFL Trade Rumors, Penn State Coaching Search

PORT JEFF, NY – Happy Friday. Here’s what we got: Dart’s Big Test, NFL Trade Rumors, Penn State Coaching Search

Dart’s Big Test

Jaxson Dart’s big test is here. After a stunning 34-17 win over the Super Bowl champion Eagles, Big Blue will head to Denver to face one of the toughest defenses in football. This is truly Jaxson Dart’s biggest challenge yet, following two home wins and a rough outing on the road. The NFC East has suddenly become wide open, and if the Giants can pull off a win in Denver, it could set them up to aim even higher.

NFL Trade Rumors

With the NFL trade deadline just weeks away, rumors are swirling that the Giants are in the market for a receiver. Chris Olave of the Saints and Jaylen Waddle of the Dolphins have both been mentioned in recent discussions. Joe Schoen has shown he’s not afraid to make bold moves, as seen when he traded for Brian Burns, who’s having an All-Pro caliber season this year. If Schoen can secure a legitimate wide receiver to pair with Nabers next season and provide Dart with a reliable option this year, it could be the move that saves his job.

Penn State Coaching Search

Jackson Sternberg

Who should Penn State hire? After the firing of James Franklin, names like Nick Saban, Brian Kelly, and Marcus Freeman have been mentioned. Penn State entered this season with sky-high expectations, reaching as high as number two in the country, but now they’re searching for a new head coach. In my opinion, they should make a serious attempt to hire Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman. He has consistently won big games with the Irish, is an excellent recruiter, and could rebuild Penn State into a powerhouse once again.
