SPANISH HARLEM – First let me start out by saying thank you for joining me today and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Nothing is better than good food and football and that perfectly coincides with the last Thursday of November. I won’t waste too much of your time because I’m sure you have much better things to do today, so let’s jump right into the NFL.

CHICAGO BEARS vs. DETROIT LIONS

The Detroit Lions don’t have much to play for and Matt Patricia is a dead man walking but it’s a tradition to watch the Lions on Thanksgiving, no matter how terrible they are. For the record, the Lions are my favorite Turkey-Day team and I root for them every year to win. I know that might sound weird because I’m an Eagles fan but I have to root for somebody… and I hate the Cowboys… For the Bears, Mitchell Trubisky has been a major disappoint and when you consider the two quarterbacks taken after him, it has to be heartbreaking to think how different this team could look if their front office would picked Pat Mahomes or DeShaun Watson instead. The Bears will probably win but it will be interesting to see how terrible the Bears offense can play for another week.

BUFFALO BILLS vs. DALLAS COWBOYS

My brother Pal’s favorite team, the Buffalo Bills, have had a surprisingly good season so far. They have an 8-3 record but there aren’t many pundits who believe they are for real. That could change for them if they are able to beat the Dallas Cowboys at home. The Cowboys are considered the better team among the two but they themselves have had a tough time against teams with winning records. I will be rooting for Buffalo because again, I hate the Cowboys and because I kinda root for the Bills to be good so my brother can be happy on gamedays.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs. ATLANTA FALCONS

About 3 weeks ago the Atlanta Falcons stunned the New Orleans Saints at home after looking like one of the worst teams in the league. Division games are always tough even if certain teams are not good because of the rivalry factor. You play them twice a year, you know what to expect from them. The Saints will look to get revenge and show that they are the Super Bowl-contending team many people believed they were before that terrible lost. Atlanta will try to show that that win was not a fluke, but I can’t see the Falcons winning that game.

That’s it, I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving and be safe everyone, comment below and you can also find us on…. Twitter @BuddyDiaz19, @MeetTheMatts & @Matt_McCarthy00, Instagram @MeetTheMatts and like our Facebook pages, Meet The Matts.
