WEST PALM BEACH, FL – It’s two days before Christmas. I think most people out there in MTM-land have checked out and/or taken off for their family holiday celebrations. Not gonna sweat this one today. It’s anything but sweeps week. Let’s have at it.

Angry_Ward Christmas Meet_The_Matts

They Might Be Giants. It’s well-documented here that I am a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan.(If you pull for this team there is no other way to describe yourself, as the Vikes diehard all the time.) So you would think that I would be thrilled at the prospect of Minnesota facing the Giants this week in a possible playoff-clinching game, sans one of the best receivers in the league… but you’d be wrong. I don’t think the Giants can beat Minnesota with or without OBJ this coming Sunday night. Just let him play. Otherwise, it’s not fair. Hakeem Nicks can’t even stand, let alone run. Tom Coughlin routinely beats him in the 50-yard dash in practice, same way he constantly beats JPP at Rock, Paper, Scissor.

And here are my thoughts on the Giants mess re the great piece by FSA yesterday:

“I haven’t heard all of the follow up on the crap the Panthers were up to, but none of it surprises me. I think a key thing you brought up is Beckham’s age and the lack of support/leadership from Manning and Coughlin. Nuts.”

Y’know what? After self-quoting and the pool beckoning… I’m outta here!
