Yankees Pride is Poo Poo

Yankees Pride is poo-poo under Hal Steinbrenner.

BRONX, NY – The New York Yankees portray themselves as a totally vanilla corporate team. The grooming policy is well known: no long or facial hair. When it comes to tattoos, it’s okay to have them on their neck and face. This begs the question, “Who are they kidding?” Even jewelry gets monitored up in Da Bronx as their left fielder, Alex Verdugo, was told he can only wear one bling chain at a time. So you can’t have no shine on your neck, but you can have smut around it.

What a bunch of ignorant employees the Yankees have in their front office.

It all starts with the owner, who happens to be a Steinbrenner. Hal Steinbrenner. He turns a blind eye to the product on the field ever since his father has passed on. His ignorance had produced one championship since 2009. While his “I see nothing!” mentality is in full effect, the players have no problem testing the team’s strict policy. Doo-rags are worn, tattoos are exposed, and jewelry is displayed. Newly acquired players are doing their own fashion thing by wearing neon colored belts, flashy cleats, and purple arm sleeves.

It’s only a matter of time before they start wearing earrings. Any fan can see that up in Da Bronx the phrase, “The inmates are running the asylum,” is happening on a daily basis.

George M. Steinbrenner, who was known as The Boss, has to be spinning in his grave as his son has turned into, The Punk, by courtesy of the players he employs, and by his own genius staff that he so relies on. Let me be the one to tell him..

“Yo Punk, your team is burning!”

Drop a dime below and come back tomorrow for Shake-N-Jake Sternberg.
