PORT JEFF, NY: Greetings. Let’s talk some playoff ball!
NBA Semi Finals
Rockets/Warriors
In the final game of the first round, I think the Warriors advance in what should be a tremendous game seven. This has been an interesting series. When Steph and Jimmy Butler have been firing on all cylinders, they’ve looked like one of the best teams in basketball. However that hasn’t been the case all series long. Amen Thompson and Dillon Brooks have been incredible defensively all series and if they’re able to limit Butler and Curry they have a chance. However I trust the veteran Warriors to come through in game seven.
Warriors/Wolves
Should this series happen, it would be incredible. The Wolves dominated the Lakers in impressive fashion. Regardless of who wins the Rockets/Warriors game seven, I think the Wolves would be too much for either team to handle. I have been incredibly impressed with this team. After trading Karl Anthony Towns I wasn’t sure what this team would like this year after their WCF appearance a year ago. Anthony Edwards continues to be an ascending superstar, who always seems to play his best in the biggest moments. Julius Randle has meshed extremely well, and their roll players have Jayden McDaniels and Donte Divencenzo have been excellent. I’m not sure any team in the west can go toe to toe with OKC but if any one can it’s Minnesota.
Thunder/Nuggets
This is an absolutely brutal draw for the Nuggets. The Thunder swept the Grizzlies and have now rested for well over a week, whereas the Nuggets played a grueling seven game series against the Clippers. Now the Nuggets always have a chance against anybody because they have the best player in the world in Jokic. However unless he absolutely dominates every game which he certainly can, I think the Thunder win this series in 5 or 6 games. They’re simply the deepest team in the league and play flawless basketball on both ends of the floor.
Cavs/Pacers
I really want to pick the Pacers to win this series, but I just can’t pick against the Cavs. The pacers are a very exciting team that can score with almost anyone, however outside of OKC the Cavs have been the most dominate team in the NBA. They obliterated the Heat in four games in round one and I think they make quick work of Indiana.
Knicks/Celtics

After narrowly escaping game 6 in Detroit the Jalen Brunson led Knicks advanced to the next round for the third consecutive year. As for Boston, they defeated the Magic in 5 games however they didn’t look overly impressive throughout much of the series. However, despite not looking as dominant as they had in recent years I just don’t see how the Knicks win this series. Bostons rotation is incredibly deep and as everyone know Thibs’ loves nothing more then to play his guys 40 minutes a night which in my opinion makes this a terrible matchup for the Knicks. It’ll take a massive series from KAT and Jalen Brunson for the Knicks to even have a chance. Celtics in 5
