SPANISH HARLEM – This should have New York Knicks fans excited: Coach Mike Brown has received from pre-season hype as Coach of The Year, with buzz among some of ESPN analysts and reporters. He is certainly not the early favorite, but this still is good news, as many believe he will be an upgrade on the offensive side of the ball than Tom Thibodeau.

His first year with the Sacramento Kings yielded early results, with that team having one of the best offensives in the league. If he can somehow find a way to make the Knicks offensively better, then we are looking at a team that will be favorites to in the Eastern Conference and potentially get them to first NBA Finals in more than 25 years. I believe there will be better on offense though if it clicks in sooner rather than later, this could be the special season all Knicks have waited for.
Malik Beasley
The Knicks have made it known that they are interested in bringing in Mailk Beasley on their last veteran minimum contract that they have available. Brown will surely use his beach more and getting someone like Beasley on that type of contract would be godsend for them and make them as deep as any NBA team roster wise. I personally don’t see this happening, as I’m sure there are teams that can pay him more, but he may be intrigued by playing for a championship contender. I hope this somehow happens, but I won’t sleep for it as well.
