This year’s matchup features the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, two teams that came into the season with high expectations, though maybe not a Super Bowl appearance. Both defenses are legit and should keep the game close. It’s tough to pick against the red-hot Seahawks right now, but there’s something about this Patriots team that just feels unbeatable. I’m taking New England in a very close one, say 23-20, as the dynasty returns under Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel in his first year.
NBA Trade Deadline Talk
Another NBA trade deadline has come and gone, marked by numerous significant moves that have reshaped the playoff landscape. Focusing on the Knicks, who currently lead their division and aim to capture their first championship since 1973, the team appears to have the roster capable of achieving this goal. They bolstered their lineup by acquiring José Alvarado from the New Orleans Pelicans, along with making a minor trade to add depth at the guard position. Alvarado, known for his tough, relentless on-ball defense, is exactly the type of player the Knicks need to provide relief for Jalen Brunson.
