PORT JEFF, NY – We’ve got a lot to discuss. Yankees Eliminated, Dodgers vs Phils, Giants Stun Eagles!
Yankees Eliminated
Capping off a big year that included losing Juan Soto to the Mets, and once again ending without a championship, Yanks are now golfing, too. Despite having what seemed to be the better pitching with Fried and Rodon at the top of the rotation, both were hit hard. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays excelled where the Yankees faltered—they played solid defense, made contact at the plate, and their frontline starters delivered in clutch moments. Led offensively by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the Jays proved why they were the best team in the American League.
Dodgers vs Phils
In another thrilling MLB elimination game between the Dodgers and Phillies, right-hander Tyler Glasnow started for the Dodgers, facing off against Phillies left-hander Christopher Sanchez. It was a pitchers’ duel from the start, with both starters dominating and keeping the game scoreless through five innings. Each team managed to push across a run, but the game was ultimately decided in extra innings. The Dodgers loaded the bases and clinched the win due to a throwing error by Phillies pitcher Orion Kerkering. The Dodgers will now face the winner of the Cubs and Brewers matchup.
Giants Stun Eagles!

The New York Football Giants have defeated the defending Super Bowl champions. The team’s rookies, Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, have breathed new life into this squad, giving the Giants a fresh identity. In just his third career start, Dart has given fans a reason to tune in every week. On the defensive side, the often-criticized unit delivered their best performance of the season. Brian Burns dominated in the backfield, proving he’s one of the best pass rushers in football, while the Giants held Saquon Barkley to just 58 yards. No matter the Giants’ record or what happens next, this is a monumental, culture-changing win. Personally, I haven’t been this excited about a Giants victory since 2022. Say what you will about the regime, but this win might finally be the spark the organization needs to return to its former glory.
