ICYMI: Dart done for the Season.
And just like that the seasons over. What began as about a promising a start this team has had in a decade, the Giants will now play the remainder of the year without their starting QB. Perhaps what’s most frustrating about this latest Dart injury is that it wasn’t the way anybody expected Dart to go down. There really isn’t too much to say. The Giants are reported to be trading/signing another QB, I just don’t think there’s a guy out there who is all that better than Jameis. While Winston did look horrible against the Rams, he was facing the best defense in football with absolutely zero first team reps. I think we’ll see Winston play better today against the Titans in what could be an extremely ugly game with poor weather expected.
Hope for the Jets?
In the other locker room at Met Life, the Jets have show some real improvement across their first two games. While nobody expects the Jets to be a real playoff contender this year, it’s clear they have several key pieces that can be built around for years to come. This team has also done a great job at stock piling draft picks the last few years. The Sauce Gardner trade has looked like an incredible steal for this Jets team. They still have another pick from the Colts and Adonai Mitchell who’s really shown some true promise as this teams number two receiver behind Garrett Wilson. For this first time in a very long time, the Jets have a very bright future.
