The Jack Attack: Wainwright Milestone, Frisco Refs Sucked, Lazy Mets

HOLBROOK NY – Hello again, everyone. Its Fake Sandy’s son chiming in with some observations about what’s going on in the sports world this week.

Adam Wainwright won his 200th career game on Monday. Many Mets fans, including myself, have some interesting opinions on Waino. You may recall that A-Wain struck out Carlos Beltran with the bases juiced in the bottom of the 9th in that 2006 series – that kept the Mets from winning the NL Pennant. Since legacy is everything, how will you look back on Wainwright?

The New York Giants lost to the 49ers last night. I may be in the minority But I Thought the score was not indicative of how close the game was for the first three quarters. If the the Jints had Barkley and Pro Bowl LT Clarence Andrew Thomas, they would have won that game. Further, the refs in that game sucked!

The Lazy Mets took a shot to the temple from The Phaminator, former teammate Tommy Pham. The resurgent outfielder said that Mets position players were the least hard-working that he’s been around. And he’s been around. Interestingly, Brandon Nimmo didn’t really dispute the observation. Check out his response by clicking this.
