NOTE: Buddy Diaz is 105-years-old and was in bed WAY BEFORE the Knicks miraculously beat Boston – AGAIN! Feel free to talk Knicks below!
SPANISH HARLEM – There’s a lot going on in the sports world, and I’ll weigh in on the NBA Playoffs and the big trade that was made by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. Let’s jump right into it.
NBA Playoffs
It has been the week for the underdogs, with all 4 away teams stealing wins on the road. The more surprising loss has to be the Cleveland Cavs losing both games and home court advantage to the Indiana Pacers. I don’t think anybody saw that coming and the Cavs will be going into a hostile environment while trying to get 2 games in Indy, that will be as tough as it gets if you ask me.
I would love to talk about the Knicks game but that will end too late for me to comment. I fully expect Boston will even the series. It’s not that I don’t believe in these Knicks, but the Celtics are currently the NBA Champs and tough to be in at home.
Knicks Update: They stole another game in Boston to take a 2-o lead in the series, much to my surprise, LGK!
With that said, the Denver Nuggets beat the OKC Thunder on a last second 3 in that stunned just about everybody, considering how well the Thunder have played in the 1st round matchup. Things do not look good for Golden State due to Stephen Curry’s hamstring, yet they somehow beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Curry out for game 2, Warriors fans are hoping he can come back soon because I don’t believe they have a shot in this series without him.
Steelers-Cowboys Trade

George Pickens is going to the Cowboys for draft compensation, which says a lot of Pickens character than his game play. He is one of the better receivers in the league and not someone you would think would get traded but there are off the field issues that sealed his fate in Pittsburgh. Leave it to Jerry Jones to add another head case to his roster.
That’s it for now but this was fun, I may try this again one day. Please come back tomorrow for more great content from Action Jackson Sternberg.
