Playoff Teams
Rams: The clear best team in football. After falling just shy a season ago, losing in the NFC title game. The Rams went all in on what could be the last season of Matt Stafford’s career. They’ve added one of the best defensive players of all time in Myles Garret and added another excellent defender in cornerback Trent McDuffie. The only thing that stops this team is injuries.
Eagles: Despite a very disappointing conclusion to their Super Bowl title defense, this roster is still extremely talented on both sides of the ball. I actually think the departure of AJ Brown helps this offense, specially Jalen Hurts will free them up to not feel forced to get the ball to one player. I think every team in this division has flaws that the Eagles simply don’t.
Lions: I think the Lions bounce back in a big way. They were a victim of some unlucky losses in one score games. With the departure of David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs is now going to handle a full workload for the first time in his career. He is the deserving favorite to win Offensive player of the year and I think he and Goff lead this team to a massive season offensively.
Saints: I’ll keep this short. This division is horrible and I think Tyler Shough and Kellen Moore are the best QB-HC duo in the division. It may only take 8 or 9 wins and i think New Orleans has some real upside with a soft schedule.
Wild Cards
Bears: While I think this defense is going to be a real issue for this team all season, I trust Ben Johnson to continue to put Caleb Williams in a position to succeed and lead an elite offense. I expect big things from Luther Burden and Colston Loveland in what should be one of the highest scoring teams in football.
Cowboys: The Cowboys easily have a top three offense in football. Brian Schottenheimer has proven to be a very capable coach in his first year and I think this defense will be very much improved. I think Dak has a real chance to put up some gaudy numbers and compete for an MVP.
Seahawks: The defending champs. I don’t have much to say against them. I think the Rams are the best team in football and Seattle isn’t far behind. If Sam Darnold plays as he did a year ago they have a real shot at defending their championship.
