SPANISH HARLEM – Someone pretty much had nothing to write about because Angry Ward killed it yesterday with his great column on all the sports that matter. Thanks for the lay-up… okay, let’s start over. 
Since necessity is mother of all invention, I’ll will do something I have never done before, I will look at my phone and tell you what I see. You may be shocked, but it’s mostly sports and news.
The New York Yankees
I love Baseball. Have I told you guys how much I love Baseball? Okay, we now know I love Baseball (like you didn’t know).
So… we have a season on our hands. Well, something that may look like baseball but is not really baseball. The pitchers will pitch in baseball games and the everyday players will hit in those games. But can we count them as real games? Seems far-fetched to believe that 60 games is enough to crown a Champion but here we are, looking for hope in baseball once again. Will it step to the plate and clear the bases or will it fall flat like a ten-walk no-hitter?
The New York Knicks
Yes y’all, we are back with another edition of The News That Nobody Wants. The Knicks are sending out head coaching interview invites like Christmas postcards: “Love you, Say hi to the family. Would you like an interview to be the next head coach of the Knicks?”
Bubba Wallace
There happens to be a noose that has been in a garage for months? Hey, I trust the FBI but I think they got this wrong. Bubba has been nothing but gracious. He made his point and those that appreciate him made their feelings felt. I’m happy that people stood with him when he felt threatened. It was truly something special and nothing will take away from that. Also, that noose was there for months!

It’s pretty much every way, every time I look at the news. It’s impossible to watch the news and not be hit with it. I will say this – I have been around people (like this Sunday) and that’s scary. You try your best to take care and then you realize there are so many people you love and you hope for the best. That’s who you want to see, the people you want to hug and kiss and cherish. Be smart. Help when you can and don’t be afraid to be around the people you love. Take care of yourself!
