Spanish Harlem – As a New York Knicks fan, you have to love what you see. Lose and lose greatly. make enough of an effort, but just enough to lose. Every loss makes the the team better at getting Zion, so tank tank and tank some more.
The Knicks as an organization were always looking for the quick fix. Signing the best free agent they could, trading draft picks for players that had no business playing in the Garden. It was a mess and to some degree it still is but at least now there is a plan I can agree with. I knew going into the season it wasn’t going to be pretty, I knew they would lose a lot of games, I just didn’t know if they would the stupid Knicks of days passed but I must say… I agree with playing the young guys over winning.
This roster is not built for winning, they are inexperienced and not very talented. If your David Fizdale, you take your lumps with this team now so you can draft well and add talented players via the draft. Nobody of note will sign with the Knicks unless they add better players, that will only happen if you stink and get a top 3 pick.
Hope and pray that the Knicks continue to lose because that’s the only way you get out the hell hole this organization is in. You can wish for Kevin Durant all you want but I use my time thinking about ways we can lose. Enes Kanter, sorry but you will continue to eat that bench until further notice. We’re trying to lose games here, it’s not about today, it’s about tomorrow.
