New York Giants in MUST-WIN, Which is Most Disappointing NY Team

THE SWAMP, NJ – It’s Autumn in New York – and the biblical rains have the whole area in a swamp. BUT…  the NFL season, still brand-spanking new – could be over be for the leaves fall for some teams. One of these teams is the New York Football Giants.

The G-Men will look to avoid falling to 1-3 against the Seahawks Monday night at MetLife. Daniel Jones is 1-11 in his career in prime-time. In trying to double that win total, he’ll once again have to make due without star RB Saquon Barkley and starting LT Andrew Thomas. Not good.

Big Blue simply can’t afford a loss here, and are flirting with dangerous territory. The schedule gets ugly. Circling like sharks are the Dolphins, who dropped 70 on Sean Payton and the Broncos. After that it’s a consecutive road game vs the Bills.

A loss vs Seattle and Head Coach Pete Carroll (shampoo model), potentially has the Jints staring 1-5 in the face… and a lost season after such high hopes.

Sitting at 1-2,  haven’t done much well this year. Frankly,  they should be 0-3,  if not for a heroic 2nd half effort against the feisty Cardinals, who appear much better then we all believed. Their massive upset win over the Cowboys still has Vegas whimpering.

On the other side of the ball Monday night, it’s a revenge game for Geno Smith, as he comes home for the first time since “Brilliant” Ben Mcadoo benched my beloved Eli Manning in favor of Seattle’s resurgent QB.

As for the public perception, the Giants enter as 1.5 point favorites vs the opponent from the Pacific Northwest.

THREE QUESTIONS:
1) Are the Giants worse off then the Jets?
2) Are the Giants the football version of this year’s Mets?
3) Which NY-area team has had the most disappointing 2023 to date?
