PORT JEFF, NY – No time to mess around let’s dive in: Johnnies’ Big Week, Super Bowl Predictions, Mets Bring Home Pete.
Johnnies’ Big Week
St. Johns has had a remarkable week, continuing what has been a dream season for Red Storm. They have reached heights not in over a decade, ranked 12 in AP Poll and firmly in the NCAA tournament mix. On Tuesday night, the Johnnies got the signature win had been seeking to bolster their case for a top seed in March, defeating very strong Marquette team in a defensive slugfest at the Garden. However, the challenging week will continue, with a date against two-time defending national champion UConn Huskies on Friday. True road games in conference are nearly impossible, but if anyone can take down the two-time champs, it is Rick Pitino and the Red Storm.
Mets Bring Home Pete
It’s been quite the offseason for the Mets, signing superstar OF Juan Soto to the biggest contract in sports history and bringing back Sean Manaea. Throughout all of it, it felt like the Mets needed one big bat to hit right behind Soto and Lindor. On Wednesday, the Mets got their guy back. Pete resigned with the Mets on a two-year deal worth up to 54 million dollars. In many ways, Pete is everything that us fans have grown up with. With a chance to break the Mets all home run record this, Pete puts the Mets an upper class in the NL. Sure, the Dodgers, Braves, and Phils will still have a say in the matter, but the Mets have as good of a chance as any with a top lineup in all of baseball and a starting rotation with massive amounts of potential.
Super Bowl Prediction

Last week we previewed several factors that might influence outcome of the game. Today, we will simply make our pick. I have considered numerous reasons why each team could be superior, such as the Eagles’ overall roster being significantly better than Kansas City’s and potentially the best However, in crucial games like this, I will always choose the team with the better quarterback and head coach. The Chiefs possess both with Mahomes and Andy Reid, along with players who excel in high-stakes situations like Chris Jones and Travis Kelce, I am picking Kansas City to win another thrilling Super Bowl.
