Big Ben Tuesday: Josh Allen on Super Bowl Mission, Giants on #1 Pick Mission

BUFFALO, NY – Last night the Chargers took out the Eagles in a battle of the only two teams to go down in defeat to the NY Giants. With the loss by the Eagles, you might think the Cowboys can still catch them, but it’s not happening. The Bills may not catch the Patriots either, but Josh Allen is on a mission. It was a great week for the Giants as we didn’t have to watch them play, and wins by the Titans and Saints put them in prime draft position. Let’s dive in.

Bills Bowl Bound

Even if the Cowboys win out, and they could, the Eagles will have to lose two to the likes of the Raiders, Commanders x2, and Bills. Hard to picture the Raiders or Commanders coming up with a dub.

I also don’t think the Bills will catch the Patriots. Even if the Bills beat the Pats this weekend, the Pats would also have to have a slip up against the Jets, Dolphins, or Ravens, and the Bills would have to win out just to pull even.

Regardless of the division outcome, Josh Allen is on a mission to overcome his team’s defensive deficiencies and must be salivating at a playoff field that is likely to be bereft of Mahomes, Lamar, and Burrow. Which is, just wow. Josh Allen is going to be far and away the best QB in the AFC playoffs, and I think he’s going to drag the Bills to the bowl.

Giants are #1! Er, Have the #1 Pick

Thanks to the Titans and Saints, the Giants now have the number 1 draft pick! Of course, the huge QB draft that was supposed to be this year didn’t pan out, and there might not be teams willing to give up the moon to trade up. But we’ll see. Sometimes teams get crazy and fall in full bloom love with QBs during the pre-draft evaluation period.

I love p@rn

Side Note: I promise never to use the term “full-blown love” again. Gettleman, damn you to hell.

Also, oddsmakers don’t think the Giants will stay there, as they have winnable games at home vs the Vikings and Commanders, and at the Raiders. This is also the part of the season where the Giants like to win meaningless games to mess up their draft. But I believe!

Give Mike Kafka a nice severance package if he blows the last four games. Have them play hard for three quarters and then give Russell Wilson another look. Let’s give some practice squad guys a run and let Burns rest up for next year. Get Andrew Thomas more rest for his foot. Tank Tank Tank!

Anyway, come back tomorrow for some holiday cheer from Angry Ward.
