Yankees Deal With More Injuries, Knicks Want to Stay Hot In Denver

It's been a while since Knicks fans had reason to get giddy!

SPANISH HARLEM – The New York Yankees and Knicks cannot buy a brake these days with injuries continuing to mount. Aaron Judge still had not played since injuring the rib and DJ LeMahieu is the next in line to join the injury list. As for the Knicks, OG Anunoby is out again but for how long?

Injury Strikes Again for NYY

DJ LeMahieu is the next player on an important list of Yankee starters that is now hurt to start the season. After fouling off a pitch off his right foot, which the same foot that has given trouble the prior two seasons. Just when it seems he was over the hump on the injury, it has found its way back. While the MRI did not show any structural damage, it is fair to say that the Yankees will play it safe and give him the time he needs to recover, possibly missing opening day.

Aaron Judge still has played in a game since March 9th but seems ready to play soon and should be ready for opening day, barring any unforeseen changes.

Knicks at Denver to Face the Nuggets

At the moment, the New York Knicks have won four straight games, with 3 impressive wins on the road. The road to the fifth will not be any easier, as they face the Denver Nuggets tonight to try to extend that streak. OG Anunoby will be out again, but the Knicks played well with Miles McBride in the starting lineup against Angry Ward’s beloved Warriors, to add more spacing and defense. It worked out beautifully, but the Nuggets have the best basketball player in the world in Nikola Jokic and will look for some payback from the game in January, when the Knicks won 122-84. They will have to bring their “A” game to keep the good vibes going.

That’s it for now, please come back tomorrow for more fun content.
