SPANISH HARLEM – When discussing sport(s), my brain tends to revert to the staples in my world; the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Knicks. I rarely stray from those comfort foods.  Today, however, I present you with a different menu to nibble on:  Deion Loves Dallas, Jimmy Wants Out, Saski Only Wants the Dodgers

Deion Loves Dallas

I will piggyback off Angry Ward on this because it’s just too good of a story not jump on. Deion was an amazing two-sport player that captivated the sports world in his era. I never thought he would be a coach of any kind but here we are 20 years later, and he has an opportunity to be the Head Coach of the Dallas CowboysCrazy, right?

I don’t think he has proven enough yet in college to be in the pros but this is Jerry Jones we are talking about and it’s not hard to see this happening. I not here to knock anyone for their decisions or choices but I don’t see how this benefits either party.

Jimmy Butler Trade Rumors

When Jimmy Butler wants out of somewhere, he usually gets his wish. If there was a trade to be had, trust me, the Miami Heat would have traded him a long time ago. Unfortunately, there isn’t the value in return that the Heat are looking for. Their best play is to wait it out and let his salary come off the books next season. Then they can have more salary to build around Bam Adebayo.

Roki Sasaki

Buddy Diaz, Meet The Matts
Buddy Diaz

Is it just me or does this guy seem complicated? He doesn’t like the media and took meetings with teams that he clearly wasn’t going to go to too. Yet, it seems like he is heading to the Los Angeles Dodgers which makes sense if they are looking to build the first Japanese-only clubhouse. If I were the Dodgers, I would trade for every Japanese player in the MLB and see if I can field a whole lineup and pitching staff. Now that would be something to see.

That’s it for now, please come back tomorrow for more good content from Action Jackson Sternberg.
