STAMFORD, CT: There’s a lot going on in sports. The NBA and NHL Finals in full swing. The Mets and Yankees in first, and the US Open about to tee off. But how about everyone’s favorite topic, Transgender Sports Stars?! And… a way-too-early look at the Giants Offense! Here goes nothing.
Imene Khelif
According to a supposedly leaked medical test from a lab in New Delhi, the Algerian boxer who won gold in Paris, Imene Khelif, is actually a “male karyotype.” Khelif is now skipping a boxing tournament in the Netherlands after they announced they would be sex testing all competitors.
In case you forgot, the female Olympic opponents of Khelif said they feared for their life.
Back home in Minnesota, Champlain High School just won the women’s state softball championship on the strength of a transgender pitcher who pitched 35 innings in 5 games, giving up only one run, including a 3-hit shutout in the championship game. By my calculations, that’s an ERA of about a quarter of a run per nine innings. Seems legit.
What are we doing here people? Everyone knows this isn’t fair, but most seem too afraid to say it out of fear of being called intolerant. Or worse. Maybe they like watching girls get their assess kicked by biological males. Lunacy reigns.
Premature EGiantculation
I’ve been known to get prematurely and irrationally excited about the Giants in summer. This is the year of Daniel Jones! Well, this year it’s happening in spring!
The player who is most likely to benefit from the QB change is Jalin Hyatt. The knock coming out of college was that he had one route in his tree, the go. And well, in two years he hasn’t done a thing to shake that reputation. But the Giants signed Russ and the man can throw a deep ball. It’s a match made in heaven.
So let’s best-case-scenario this shizzy for Giants’ offense.
- Evan Neal thrives at guard, Thomas stays healthy, JMS takes a big step forward and the O-line is top 10.
- Nabers is even better with Wilson, creating opportunities for Slayton and Robinson, Hyatt adds another deep dimension, Theo Johnson becomes a reliable target.
- Tracy and Skattebo make an effective RB tandem.
- Wilson plays well, but not enough to persuade anyone that he’s more than just a seat warmer.
- Dart gets some late season garbage time and looks ready to take over in 2026.
Realistic? No. But it’s June and a boy can dream.
Come back tomorrow for Angry Ward.
