STAMFORD, CT – When I started writing for this outfit, there was still a lot of talk about whether the Giants should have taken a QB like Darnold, instead of Saquon. Well, both those guys are now Super Bowl champs! Er, on other teams. I’ll make that a bookend for my less-than-illustrious career here at MTM. Yup, this is it for me. Attention Management, don’t text me next Tuesday, “You okay?” Because, in the words of Marcellus Wallace, “Nah, man. I’m pretty (effing) far from okay.” It’s been fun.
Cha Cha Cha
In the years since drafting Saquon, the Giants are 41-91-1. Only one winning season, Daboll’s first year, 9-7-1. A stunning run of diarrhea!
Eli is a HOFer
Maybe the Giants will be good again, now that I’m done here.
Speaking of things that need to change, put Eli Manning in the damn Hall of Fame. The guy should be in for what he did to Tom Brady and the Pats alone. Eli Manning is one of the best big game QBs who ever lived. One of only 6 to win multiple SB MVPs. The Helmet Catch is the greatest play in Super Bowl history. Joe Namath got in for running his mouth. Don’t punish Eli for the rot in the organization at the end of his career. Get him in there at the next possible convenience.
Seahawks Expose Maye

I guess there was something to the “Pats didn’t play anybody good” criticism. Happy Feet Maye looked rattled, and the left side of their line was getting caved in like Robin Ventura’s face from Nolan Ryan’s haymakers.
In the end I kinda liked this Seahawks team. They did it the old way, with defense and ball control. Made me wonder if the Giants will look back and wished they hired Klint Kubiac. Darnold deserves credit, I think. The stats weren’t great, but he was getting harassed as much as Maye, and his best receiver missed a big chunk of the game. But he took care of the ball and stayed poised. Walker obviously helped with that.
Super Studs
And last, in case you missed it, the latest Epstein release had emails between Bill Gates and Epstein plotting to set up income streams from endless pandemics! Another score for the conspiracy theorists, who now lead 38-0.
If you think gain of function research was noble and not about profit, well, you should probably lock yourself down for a couple hundred years, watching videos of choreographed nurse dances.
Shot out to Djokovic, Kyrie, and Rodgers for their prescience and fortitude. Those guys, among others, know a load off batsh!t when they see one.
With that, my time here is done. Thanks for reading. Thanks to Matt for the opportunity, Angry Ward for the comments, and Junoir for the unique insights. Take her easy y’all.
NOTE FROM MANAGEMENT:
Thanks to Big Ben Whitney for toiling on Tuesdays for our collective benefit. Ben made us think, laugh, harumph, question, agre and curse. Big Ben leaves big shoes to fill and will be missed BUT… the door is always open for a return. In the meantime, thank you for stellar contributions, beginning with this one back in June of 206.
You will be missed.
