Rough Week for Daniel Jones, Jints & Jets, Amazin Mets Comeback
The Mets train keeps chugging, while the ball is up in the air for Daniel Jones, Jints & Jets.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY –  You know what we have to discuss, let’s go! Rough Week for Jints & Jets, Amazin Mets Comeback.

The Giants’ performance in week one was disheartening; searching for a glimmer of optimism after such a game would leave one empty-handed. The demoralizing defeat to a mediocre team offered little for fans to cling to as they look towards week two. Daniel Jones looked like a rookie despite it being his sixth season, and the pass rush was almost imperceptible. However, if one must find a silver lining, it’s that this was merely a single game, with plenty of football still ahead.

Jets fall in Cali… Gang Green found themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time. The 49ers, arguably the best team in football and fresh off a Super Bowl loss to Kansas City, were poised for a statement victory on the national stage in week one. Aaron Rodgers largely looked like his usual self, and while the defense struggled against Kyle Shanahan.   that’s to be expected. Any team facing San Francisco this year is likely to face a similar challenge. This Sunday’s game is crucial for the Jets, as they cannot afford to start the season 0-2. The Titans, a feisty team, posed challenges for Caleb Williams in his NFL debut, but the Jets should be able to secure a win and even their record at 1-1 after the first two weeks of the season.

Another Amazin comeback.

The New York Mets keep outdoing themselves in a pivotal game before facing one of the best teams in baseball over the weekend. The Mets found themselves not only getting shut out but no hit. Through 8 innings, it looked like maybe the Mets magic had run its course, but once again, Francisco Lindor refused to let his team lose, mashing a long solo home run to tie the game at 1 and chase Jay’s starter, Bowden Francis, from the game. The Mets would go on to score five more runs in the ninth to come from behind and take two of three from the Blue Jays. What else can you say about ‘Mr. Smile? He is the heart and soul of this team and keeps delivering in high-leverage spots. After the Mets’ win, the Amazin’s got some help from our friends in Washington, who defeated the Braves to put the Metros right back into the last wildcard spot with 16 games left to play. This season, much like 2022 will most likely come down to one series in Atlanta, Ace Kodai Senga has said that he has a chance to return for that said series. Not to get ahead of ourselves, we have to take care of business against Philly. Still, us Mets fans can dream.  we can dream of playing in October, and who knows how long after, #LFGM!!!

Comment below and comeback tomorrow for Mugsy – aka Aristotle Sakellaridis.
