NEW YORK, NY – It’s not every day you get a subpoena from Charles Rangel requesting your presence in Washington D.C. as a subject matter expert. So after having spent the past 2 weeks in our Nation’s Capital arguing for Net Neutrality, we are back! And we have an exciting new short and sweet Meet The Matts Radio segment for you.
Our position, on Net Neutrality, by the way, was that Brook Lopez needs to get back on the court asap. To this end, as well as for your listening pleasure we are joined in today’s segment by…[drum roll]… Brooklyn Nets owner, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, who sounds off from a massage table on Mt. Everest.
Also phoning in, Mets GM Sandy Alderson lobbies for Bud Selig’s job – and Bobby V explodes over the Derek Jeter and Adam Wainright All-Star controversy, before getting into a heated [bleeped] discussion with Sandy… For the record, our position on this “controversy” is that the “Midsummer Classic” is nothing more than an exhibition staged each year to pay homage to geniuses like outgoing Commissioner Bud Selig. Because without Bud, who would be in charge of ignoring the passing of Hall of Famers like Tony Gwynn, Ralph Kiner and iconic Baseball lifer Don Zimmer? So we’re sure you’ll find this Meet The Matts radio segment to be chock full of entertaining sports talk… or so we hope.
Yet, we digress…
Anyway, have a listen to the below – now, or download for later – and please feel free to comment below and share with your peeps. Merci beaucoup.
Hope you got something out of that. Again, your thoughts are welcomed below and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for Sports Rain Man, Junoir Blaber, tomorrow.
