MARLBORO, NY – I sincerely hope all of you out there had a very Happy Thanksgiving. The great friends who hosted dinner knocked it out of the park and I’m here to do the same with my Cheesy Bruin’s FREE NFL Picks after a 3-1 week that saw the record improve to 20-24 on the year. Maybe these selections line your pockets with cash in time for Cyber Monday tomorrow.

FAVORITE Has there been a more surprisingly lackluster team than the Minnesota Vikings? So much was expected for Angry Ward’s favorite team after their run to the NFC Championship game last year and the Kirk Cousins signing in the off season. Lately, the Vikes are in a win one/lose one pattern over the past four games and I’m counting on them to follow suit today with a “W”. This is a team that needs to start playing its best football beginning with tonight’s prime time home game against the Packers, who are 0-5 on the road this year. These two teams managed to play a 29-29 tie early in the year but there is something more wrong with the Pack than there is with the Vikings. The Vikings disappointed after their bye week as they lost to the division-leading Bears. It’s put up or shut up time for Minnesota and they will answer the bell. The Pick: MINNESOTA -3.5 over Green Bay

UNDERDOG For the life of me I can’t understand why the Patriots are only ten point favorites over the J-E-T-S today. The Jets suck and all you need to know about them was on display against the Bills two weeks ago. They simply didn’t show up for the game and Todd Bowles somehow escaped the bye week with his job still intact. The Pats also come into the game off of their bye week and an embarrassing loss of their own and sport a 2-3 record on the road. I don’t know how it happens but maybe this game will be fixed as that is the only way the Jets cover the spread here. I’ve seen funnier things happen in the NFL when there is an inordinate amount of money riding on a team. The Pick: NEW YORK JETS +10 over New England

NOTE: Management “Stands by” Cheesy Bruin. Go to 0:48 mark:

OVER The Steelers are on a nice little roll, having won six in a row and are getting steady play on both sides of the ball in the process. MeetTheMatts.com, Cheesy Bruin, Free NFL PicksThey snoozed through the first half last week against Jacksonville only to recover with a second half effort good enough to get the win. Pittsburgh has played close games on the road this year and today should be much of the same with points coming at a steady pace. Denver won’t lay down as they hold out hope in getting into the playoffs. I can see this game in the neighborhood of a 27-23 score which is good enough to get the cash on this wager. The Pick: Pittsburgh/DENVER OVER 46.5

UNDER I think the Carolina Panthers are vastly overrated. Yes, they are 6-4 but they’re also trending down after a pair of brutal losses to the Steelers and Lions. Their body of work isn’t so impressive when you scrutinize who they’ve beat and when they’ve played teams. But I digress because I’m looking at points scored in today’s game against the Seahawks. Seattle finds themselves traveling East for a one o’clock start and that usually spells trouble for West Coast teams. The ‘Hawks are a pesky team–one that moves the ball on offense and has some shortcomings on defense and plays a lot of close games but I don’t like the spot they find themselves in today. A defensive struggle is the forecast. The Pick: Seattle/CAROLINA UNDER 46.5

That’s it, come back tomorrow for a man that has 7 molars, Buddy Diaz.

A man amongst men. Cheesy Bruin kicked cancer to the curb - twice. The Cheese Man's a big, tough teddy-bear who survived the Bronx despite being an unabashed Boston Bruins fan and Sargent-At-Arms for Angry Ward's Urban Spur Posse. Nuff said. Doctors have taken most of this throat and had to make him a new tongue from thigh-meat (his own) and still he won't shut up about the Bruins, Cowboys, Pirates and Cleveland Cavaliers. And yes, his kids do love him.
